The Fabulous Fifteen Graduate!

A huge congratulations to the Fabulous Fifteen who recently graduated from the Arts Council of Mongolia’s ‘Young Leaders in Art’ program. A special ceremony was held at the Khan Bank Gallery in Ulaanbaatar that featured performances and an exhibition of work by some of the talented artists that participated in the six-month long program.

The Fabulous Fifteen at their graduation ceremony

In its inaugural year, the World Bank funded project set out to equip young Mongolians across the visual and performing arts spectrum with new skills to take them well into the future.

The group, made up of painters and designers; traditional, jazz and classical musicians and arts managers and administrators, was carefully selected from a host of applicants. All displayed strong leadership skills in their respective fields, and have the potential to contribute greatly to Mongolia’s cultural development.

Their recent schooling covered everything from leadership to fundraising and touring, and perhaps most importantly, expanded their individual networks by providing a platform for the sharing of ideas and experiences. Watch this space to learn more about what the F15 get up to over the coming months!
